Malian president gets royal message

Malian President Alpha Omar Konare met in Rabat Tuesday with visiting Moroccan Minister of Transport and Merchant Navy Mustapha Mansouri who handed him a message from King Mohammed VI. President Konare voiced esteem for the king and the Moroccan people and hailed cooperation ties between the two countries.
The Malian president expressed his country's backing for a new mandate for Omar Kabbaj at the head of the African Development Bank and the kingdom's bid for the 2006 World Cup.
