Egypt welcomes anticipated Israeli withdrawal from south Lebanon

Egyptian Assistant Foreign Minister for Arab Affairs Mostafa El-Feki, a member of the Egyptian delegation that participated in meetings of the Arab League council, said the decisions issued in this session concerning supporting Lebanon were clear. He said Egypt performed an effective and clear role through supporting the Lebanese point of view and stance even though Egypt has a different perception regarding the anticipated unilateral Israeli withdrawal in coming July, adding that Egypt believes that any withdrawal from any part of Arab land is something that we must welcome.
