Israel continues its aggression against south Lebanon

Lebanese security sources said heavy artillery from the Israeli occupation forces bombarded areas close to the occupied part of south Lebanon.

More than 20 shells fell over the target areas while the pro-Israel South Lebanon Army militia machine gunned the surrounding of the besieged Ein Sinta, village whose inhabitants were restricted from moving freely, the sources said.

The sources added the Israeli warplanes raided the area of al-Assi, situated between Kafra and Yater towns in south Lebanon. One missile hit the power lines and electricity was cut off in Kafra, the sources added. They continued that the planes carried out intensive sorties over south Lebanon up to the capital Beirut and its suburbs.

Further reports from south Lebanon said the Israeli occupation forces escalated their aggressions against areas adjacent to the occupied part of south Lebanon and the western Bekaa.

Lebanese security sources said the Israeli artillery positioned in Wadi Abu Qamha bombarded on Monday al-Sarira, al-Qatrani, Burket al-Jabbour in the western Bekaa, where 20 heavy shells were fired.

On Monday morning, the Lebanese resistance attacked an Israeli military force along the road to the occupation forces' position in al-Radar area in the western sector of occupied south Lebanon.

In a statement, the resistance said a Lebanese resistance group rocketed the force and inflicted casualties among the Israeli soldiers.

The statement added that another resistance group rocketed the position with mortars to prevent troops from backing the targeted Israeli force.

A third resistance group attacked military movements inside the Balat military position in the same sector, the Lebanese resistance statement added.
