Football: Morocco poised to qualify for Olympic games

The Moroccan Olympic squad has increased its odds of qualifying for the football tournament of the 2000 Olympic games, due next summer in Sydney, Australia.
A precious 1-1 draw wrestled by the Moroccans in Cairo against the Egyptians maintained Morocco on top of group C with 10 points.
The Moroccans were closer to victory as they were leading 1-0 until the last 15 minutes, when the Egyptians equalized.
The Egyptians were very disappointed as their dreams to be present in Sydney faded away.
Morocco will need at least a draw against Cote D'Ivoire in Rabat to make it. Egypt will play Tunisia in Tunis.
