Moroccan trade mission to Ireland in June

A Moroccan trade mission from the textile and leather sectors will be visiting Ireland in June, said industry, trade and handicraft minister Alami Tazi.
Tazi covered bilateral cooperation issues and ways to enhance trade between the two countries with ambassador John Campbell, who said Ireland was ready to boost exchanges with the kingdom in several fields top of which are computers and pharmaceuticals.
Trade exchange increased from 300 million dhs in 1990 to 500 million dhs in 1998. Morocco buys chemicals, drugs and cotton material from Ireland and exports fertilizers, phosphoric acid and textile products.
