Raising the first Internet television in Egypt

The Egyptian markets are getting ready to receive the first television supplied with the ability to connect to the Internet during the coming two months.

Ahmed Bahgat, head of the board of directors of the international electronics company told ArabicNews.com that his company aims at producing different communications devices with 10% Egyptian technology and that company will also sell reception devices for digital satellite systems.

He said that 100,000 devices are currently being made this year, to be doubled to 200,000 in the coming year with lower prices than imported devices by percentages vary between 30% and 50%.

He stated that 5% of these devices are exported to the Arab and African markets and that his company will achieve this year profits of LE64 million in comparison to LE60 million last year.
