Increasing activity to instigate Palestinians to sell their land in areas of year 1948

The activities of land brokers have increased in the last period with the beginning of the final countdown for signing the final status agreement between Israel and the Palestinians.

Palestinian sources told ArabicNews.com that the land brokers are promoting rumors that the final status agreement will officially end the refugees' rights, therefore they must sell their lands inside the areas of year 1948 (year of their displacement) to have a chance to get proper financial compensation for these properties.

The sources said the Palestinian government is going after the land brokers in the areas located under its administrative control and in coordination with the neighboring Arab states to frustrate this increasing activity inside camps of the Palestinian refugees.
