Ruler of Qatar prepares to visit Damascus

A Syrian- Qatari summit will be held on march 20 in Damascus, the first for Qatari Emir Sheikh Hamad Bin Khaleifa al-Thani since he assumed power in his country.
Well-informed source in Doha said the two states will sign agreements during the visit of the emir to Damascus which will last for two days.
It was learned that the two agreements relate to investment cooperation and youths and sports.
Diplomatic sources said that the visit of the ruler of Qatar to Syria, after which he will visit Italy, will constitute an "important step to backing the continuously developing bilateral relations."
Middle East peace process development will be on the top of agenda in the talks between the ruler of Qatar and President al-Assad.
