Israeli raids against south Lebanon

The Israeli warplanes on Thursday renewed their raids against the hills and heights of al-Tuffah district in south Lebanon.
Lebanese security sources said the Israeli warplanes raided al-Rayhan and dropped three air-to-surface missiles resulting in an explosion in the area that echoed in places far from the site of the explosion.
Meanwhile, the Israeli artillery bombarded the areas of Jabal Safi, Aqmata farm, the woods of Sujoud al-Rayhan, al-Tasse spring course, al-Jabal al-Rafee, Mleita and Lweizah hills, Jarjou and al-Wadi al-Akhdar (the green valley).
The Israeli aggressions resulted in material losses in houses and plantations.
On Thursday afternoon, the Israeli planes raided the strategic area of al-Tuffah district which overlook the occupied part of south Lebanon.
Lebanese security source said that Israeli jets raided al-Tasse spring course and dropped several air-to-surface missiles.
Lebanese Army and resistance anti aircraft missiles intercepted the raiding planes which retaliated by firing thermal balloons.
