More killing in Algeria

The Algerian daily al-Aseel on Wednesday said that the Algerian security forces killed six gunmen from a besieged armed group in an apartment in one of the suburbs of Oran.

Meanwhile, the Algerian paper al-Sahafah said that the armed groups broke into a hotel in Bu Ghani city and killed four persons including the head of the municipality, three soldiers and kidnapped a girl.

The paper indicated that two persons were killed and a third was wounded when a bomb went off in Djelfa province, 275 km from the capital Algiers.

The Algerian daily al-Youm said the armed groups assassinated a policeman near the embassy of Senegal in Algiers.
