Concluding international meeting for the Internet in Cairo

The annual meeting of the international organization for organizing the Internet will conclude tomorrow in Cairo. 300 international experts in fields of Internet and data technology are participating the meeting, in addition to experts and specialists in Egypt in this field.

The meeting lasted three days.

The meeting, which is being held for the first time in Middle East area, aimed to discuss the future of the Internet and means of revitalizing the working investments in this field.

Nearly 165 million persons are participating in the internet, among whom are nearly 90 million in the USA and Canada, 40 million in Europe, nearly 27 million in Asia, 5 million in Latin America and 1.5 million in the Arab states as the United Arab Emirates occupies the first position, then Saudi Arabia and Egypt comes in the third position.
