Sudan to sell cheaper oil to Thailand
Sudan-Thailand, Business, 3/8/2000
Sudan has offered to sell lower-price oil to Thailand which is seeking ways to cushion impact of rising world oil prices on its public and entrepreneurs, Thai news agency TNA said.
Visiting Sudanese oil minister offered to sell cheaper oil to Thailand during his meeting with Thai Industry Minister Suwat Liptapallop in Bangkok on Tuesday.
The visiting minister offered to sell oil with $2 dollars a barrel cheaper than the current world prices.
Crude oil prices in western countries have risen to around $32 a barrel over the past weeks, the highest recorded price since the 1990 Gulf War.
