Qatar and the peace process

Qatar has welcomed the decision taken by Israel to withdraw its forces from south Lebanon by July and described this decision as an important step in the Middle East peace process.
The Qatar News Agency said on Tuesday evening that the spokesman for the Qatari Foreign Ministry also expressed Qatar's hope of resuming the Israeli negotiations on the Syrian and Lebanese tracks in order to maintain a full withdrawal from the occupied Golan and take part in achieving the objectives of the peace process on all tracks.
