Iranian to participate in meetings of Arab foreign ministers in Beirut

The Arab states agreed on Iran's participation in meetings of the Arab League council on level of the Arab foreign ministers that will be held in Beirut on Saturday.
Arab League Secretary General Esmat Abdul Meguid said he received a phone call from Iranian Foreign Minister Kamal Kharazi, in which he asked to attend the editorial session of the conference of Arab foreign ministers to take place in Beirut.
Abdul Meguid said he agreed to this demand because of Iran's capacity as head of the Organization of the Islamic Conference, clarifying that there is a cooperation agreement between the AL and the OIC.
