Bahraini emir starts visit to Oman

Bahraini Emir Sheikh Hamad Bin Issa al-Khalifa arrived in Oman and held talks with Sultan Qaboos Bin Saeed of Oman.
The discussions tackled bilateral relations between the two states and latest developments in the Gulf and the Arab arenas, as well as subjects of joint interest.
Bahraini sources said the meeting tackled the situation in the Gulf in the shadow of US and British troops' presence in the area and means of working on lifting the sanctions from Iraq to ease the Iraqi people's suffering.
The sources added that the two parties agreed that the Arab situation now is deteriorated and that they must work to evade this crisis, to reconcile among the Gulf states, staying away from the difficulties and starting a new page.
