Moroccan former female athletes in world conference

Three former Moroccan female athletics stars will attend an international conference on women and sports, to open doors this Monday in Paris.
1984 Olympic champion Nawal Al-Moutawakkil, former world two-mile recordwoman Fatima Awwam, and Fatima Al-Fakir, will represent Morocco in the conference of the International Olympic Committee (IOC).
Al-Moutawakkil, also former Moroccan youth and sports secretary of state, is a member of the IOC and of the executive committee of the International Athletics Federation (IAAF).
The Paris conference will debate issues pertaining to women in sports in the third millennium.
