Putin delegate to visit the Middle East

The Russian ambassador to Lebanon, Boris Bolitin, has announced that a delegate for acting Russian President Vladimir Putin will visit Lebanon in the framework of a tour of the region which will also cover Syria and Jordan.
Following his meeting with the secretary of the Lebanese Foreign Ministry, Zuheir Hamdan, on Saturday in Beirut, the Russian ambassador added that the visit, which will be made within 10 days, aims at closely studying the conditions in the region, especially in regard to the Middle East peace process.
