Liberian President concludes visit to Libya

President Charles Taylor of Liberia on Sunday concluded a visit to Libya which lasted for three days, during which he held talks with Libyan leader Col. Moammar Gaddafi on African issues. In a pre-departure statement before leaving Syrte airport, the Liberian president said the two leaders exchanged viewpoints on African issues.
He commended the role played by Libya in helping Mozambique withstand the natural catastrophe it is facing from flooding.
