Gaddafi speaks with Nigerian counterpart

Libyan leader Col. Moammar Gaddafi on Saturday evening spoke on the telephone with Nigerian President Olusegun Obasanjo. During the telephone conversation talks dealt with several issues of mutual concern and African and international issues.
The Libyan leader learned from his Nigerian counterpart about the developments of recent incidents in Nigeria (confrontations between Muslims and Christians). The Nigerian president described conditions in his country following the acts of violence that erupted recently there, as stable.
