Benin president arrives in UAE
United Arab Emirates-Benin, Politics, 3/6/2000
President Mathieu Kerekou of the Republic of Benin arrived on Sunday in Abu Dhabi in a visit to the United Arab Emirates which will last for three days, during which he will meet with several high-ranking officials to discuss means of developing bilateral relations between the two countries and issues of mutual concern.
President Kerekou will take part in the opening of second session of the Triple International Defense Exhibition (Tridex 2000), which opened on Sunday. Some 20 countries are taking part in this exposition which will debate latest security equipment and advanced military weapons.
