68 countries in international investment forum in Kuwait today

Works of the International Investment Forum 2000 started today in Kuwait.
The event is organized by the Kuwaiti Trade and Industry Ministry in association with the Arab research center (located in Cairo). More than 78 countries and 46 international companies in addition to numerous banks, companies, and governmental and private organizations, as well as Arab and foreign economic experts are participating in the forum that will last until March 9.
The forum, which includes 21 workshops aimed at marketing investments locally and internationally through attracting investors to the Gulf area in general and to Kuwait in particular.
This forum comes in the framework of the Kuwaiti government's efforts to search for new resources for the budget away from the petroleum resources.
