King Mohammed views air-ground maneuvers in Ouarzazate

King Mohammed VI of Morocco, commander in chief and chief of the general staff of the Royal Armed Forces, who is undertaking a military inspection trip in southeastern military facilities, viewed on Friday air-ground maneuvers in the drill grounds of Ouarzazate (southeastern Morocco).
Accompanied by his brother, Prince Moulay Rachid, the king viewed two-hour-long joint military maneuvers conducted by air, armored and artillery units.
After he congratulated the units which participated in the maneuvers and enquired about the operation of equipment, the chief of staff chaired a dinner hosted for the military staff of the units and a party of military and civil officials.
Before Ouarzazate, King Mohammed VI was on a similar trip in Errachidia. This Saturday, the king will be visiting the military command of the southern zone in Agadir.
The king's visit carries on the tradition of his father and shows the special care and solicitude he grants to the Royal Armed Forces, a statement of the general staff of the Royal Armed Forces had said.
