Syria emphasizes importance of complete withdrawal from Golan

Syrian emphasized its adherence to the necessity of Israel's withdrawal to its June 4, 1967 borders so that peace can take place with Israel.

A Syrian sources said today that, "There is no bargaining on this matter, and what was broadcast by the Israeli TV concerning this alleged secret agreement does not go with Israel's stance, because it is the one who delayed the peace process and did not provide the subjective chances for resuming it."

For its part, the Israeli prime minister's office also denied the news broadcast by the first channel of the Israeli television which said that Syria and Israel will sign a peace agreement soon.
