Declaring the Palestinian State in September

The Palestinian leadership has asserted it will declare the Palestinian State according to a timetable that does not exceed the September 13.
A statement by the Palestinian leadership following its meeting tonight in the in the West Bank headed by Palestinian President Yasser Arafat said September 13 is the scheduled date and for ratifying the final status agreement for the Palestinian lands. It added that this date cannot be delayed, urging the international community to move quickly to save the negations from a complete breakdown.
Ahmed El-Tibi, a member of the Israeli Knesset, urged the US to pressure the Israeli government to continue with the peace process in the Middle East, saying that the USA must be a compete partner in this operation.
