The Israelis and withdrawal from the Golan, south Lebanon

The Israeli daily Maariv said that 63% of the Israelis have expressed their conviction that Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak will keep his promise in withdrawing from south Lebanon in July.
In the course of a questionnaire issued on Friday the Israeli paper added that 63% of the Israelis who took part in this opinion poll back having a Jewish majority decide on the referendum over an agreement with Syria and the withdrawal from the Golan, while the other 33% said it is enough to have an ordinary majority to decide on such a referendum, Israel Radio reported.
