Morocco-International, Sports, 3/3/2000
FIFA Chief, Joseph Blatter and his CAF peer, Issa Hayatou, are expected in Morocco on March 24-25 to confer with Moroccan officials on the kingdom's bid to host the 2006 World Cup. Morocco is campaigning against South Africa, Brazil, England and Germany to host the World Cup.
A FIFA delegation has just inspected Morocco's sports, roads and telecom facilities, part of the bid.
The host country will be known next July, when FIFA executive board will meet.
