King Mohammed views maneuvers at Errachidia drill grounds
Morocco, Military, 3/3/2000

King Mohammed VI, commander in chief and chief of the general staff of the Royal Armed forces, viewed on Thursday maneuvers at the drill grounds in Errachidia, in southeastern Morocco.

The king who was accompanied by his brother, Prince Moulay Rachid, viewed tactical and armored drills, visited the drill grounds and heard explanations of the goals of the maneuvers, held periodically by the Royal Armed Forces.

King Mohammed VI is also to undertake this Friday an inspection tour to drill grounds in Ouarzazate and to the southern zone command in Agadir.

A statement by the general staff of the royal armed forces announcing the visit said it carries on the tradition of his father and shows the special care and solicitude he grants the Royal Armed Forces.
