New lines for EgyptAir to COMESA countries
Egypt, Business, 3/3/2000
Sources in the Egyptian Transportation Ministry revealed that the EgyptAir cooperation with non-governmental Egyptian organizations revealed the possibility of running new lines to the COMESA (Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa) countries, especially those to which the Egyptian airplanes do not travel.
The sources told ArabicNews.com that these lines include transporting passengers and goods to increase the volume of joint exchange among Egypt and the COMESA countries.
They said EgyptAir is currently serving only seven stops in southern and eastern Africa, adding that there is another study to run maritime lines among the Egyptian harbors and the COMESA countries to serve trade among this assembly and all over the world.
