First stage of Alamain airport begins

The first stage of establishing Alamain International Airport nearly 450 kilometers north of Cairo will begin tomorrow.
The airport is to be established and run by the international company for airports on the BOT (build- operate- transfer) system according to the contracts signed with the Egyptian general organization for civil aviation and to be delivered with all its establishments to the Egyptian government in good condition 50 years after the actual opening of this airport.
The first stage is specified for establishing the international runway for the landing and take off at a length of 3,500 meter and a width of 60 meters.
