Ben Ali calls for Moroccan-Tunisian cooperation follow-up
Tunisia-Morocco, Politics, 3/2/2000

President Zine El Abidine Ben Ali underscored the need for Moroccan-Tunisian cooperation follow-up and use of every opportunity available.

President Ben Ali hailed ever-improving ties between the two states while meeting Foreign Minister Habib Ben Yahia reporting on his recent assignment in the kingdom where he conveyed the sovereign a message from the Tunisian head of state.

This positive trend, said the president, translates into more meetings of the joint commission, trade of visits, bodies to monitor, assess and come up with more opportunities besides increased consultation on regional and international issues.
