Jordan denies conveying chemical materials to Kuwait through its land

The Jordanian Ministry of Interior denied yesterday press reports concerning the discovery of chemical materials in two trucks that entered Kuwait through Jordan, asserting that these materials were nothing but insecticides.
An official Jordanian source said that after contacting with the Kuwaiti authorities it was found that these materials are insecticides that are used for purely commercial purposes, assuring that they do not contain gases, poisons or explosives.
A Kuwaiti official source said that U.S. experts specializing in chemical materials and weapons arrived last Sunday in Kuwait at the authorities' request after finding chemical materials in two trucks coming from Jordan.
