Moroccan carrier increases flights to/from Italy

Moroccan air carrier "Royal Air Maroc" will service, starting March 28, an additional two flights to and from Italy, RAM's regional manager in the European country said.
He said the Moroccan state-owned company has carried in 1999 a total of 250,000 passengers to and from Italy, recording an 8% increase.
As part of its drives to consolidate its presence in the highly-growing market in Italy, RAM was also present in the International Tourism Bourse held in Rome from Feb.23 to 27 with a 100-square meter pavilion and cosponsored a Moroccan show for 200 Italian tourism professionals.
