Riyadh to host Gulf states foreign ministers April meeting
Gulf, Politics, 3/1/2000
An official in the Gulf Cooperation Council asserted that the foreign ministers of the member states -- which include Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates-- will convene in Riyadh in April.
The official told ArabicNews.com that the meeting has not yet been finally determined in April and that there are communications among the foreign ministers to determine the two proper days in the month on which the ministers are free.
The official said the GCC will discuss the results of the Iranian elections and the mediation played by Saudi Arabia with Iran and the United Arab Emirates in order to end Iran's occupation of three Islands which the UAE claims.
