Israel continues aggressions against Lebanon

The Israeli occupation forces on Tuesday continued to attack areas adjacent to the occupied part of south Lebanon and the western Bekaa.

The Israeli artillery shelled the outskirts of Majdal Zoune town, Jib Swid area and al-Rayhan woods, according to Lebanese security sources.

The shelling was accompanied with a heavy mopping-up operation in Meimas valley area, the woods of Ein Qinieh and al-Dabghi and al-Awsat mount.

On Monday at midnight the Israeli occupation forces bombarded al-Sawannah town and the area situated al-Tameriya triangle and Majdal Solum town, firing more than thirty shells.

Further reports from south Lebanon said an Israeli gunboat intercepted the Lebanese fishing boats off of al-Mansouri shores in the Tyre area within the course of Israel's piracy at the southern shore.

Other reports from the south of Lebanon said the Israeli forces on Tuesday bombarded several south Lebanese towns, amid intensive flights of its warplanes.

Lebanese security sources added that the Israeli artillery bombarded al-Qeseyeh valley, Majdal Soloum, Khurber Soloum, al-Jimijmeh, al-Ghandourieh, al-Tibeh and the outskirts of Hadatha and Eita al-Jabal.

The Israeli bombardment also targeted Wadi al-Hajir and al-Salawqi valley, while Israeli warplanes flew at low altitude over the targeted area, carrying out mock raids.

The Lebanese resistance attacked three positions of the Israeli occupation forces and the pro-Israel South Lebanon Army militias in the occupied part of south Lebanon.

In a statement, the resistance said one of its groups attacked Israeli occupation troops in Beer Klaab position. Direct hits were achieved.

A second Lebanese resistance group attacked an Israeli foot patrol in Kassaret al-Arooush and direct hits were also achieved.

A third resistance group attacked the Israeli Dhour position and direct hits were scored.

On Monday evening the Lebanese resistance attacked two positions of the Israeli occupation and the SLA militias inside the occupied part of south Lebanon.

Resistance sources said a group of its men attacked an Israeli gathering inside al-Qaba position, while a second group attacked al-Muheisbat position. Direct hits were scored.
