Contacts with Iran on UAE islands

Omani Foreign Minister Youssef Bin Alawi has stated that a team from the Arab states in the Gulf that is assigned to settle the question of the three islands under dispute between the United Arab Emirates and Iran will hold talks in Tehran at a later time.
In a statement to Abu Dhabi TV on Monday evening, Bin Alawi added that the tripartite committee which includes Oman, Saudi Arabia and Qatar will shortly start contacts with Iran after the end of the Iranian parliamentary elections in order to discuss means of starting direct talks on the three islands.
