Saudi crown prince visits Cairo suddenly

Saudi Arabia's Crown Prince Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz arrived at Cairo suddenly at 2:40 p.m. in Cairo time for an official visit, during which he met with Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak, and they discussed the developments in the Middle East and the Israeli shelling of south Lebanon.
A statement by the Saudi Royal Divan said that Crown Prince Abdullah is heading after meeting with Egyptian Prime Minister Atef Ebeid to Syria to meet with Syrian President Hafez al-Assad, with whom he will discuss the latest developments in the peace process and the importance of supporting the Lebanese resistance in its steadfastness against the Israeli aggression.
He will also head to Lebanon to meet with Lebanese President Emile Lahoud and Prime Minister Salim al-Hoss to discuss the latest developments and the support required to rebuild the basic infrastructure that was destroyed by Israel in its continuous aggression on Lebanon.
