France assures its stable policy toward the Middle East

French Foreign Minister Hubert Vedrine informed Egyptian Foreign Minister Amr Moussa that France will not change its policy in the Middle East because it adheres to supporting the peace process on all tracks and ratifying a just and comprehensive peace in the area.
Vedrine phoned Moussa the rage dominated the Arab world following the declarations of French Prime Minister Lionel Jospin who depicted the attacks launched by Hizbullah against the Israeli occupation as terrorism.
On the other hand, Lebanese President Emile Lahoud and Prime Minister Salim al-Hoss received two written messages from French President Jacques Chirac, during which he assured the steadfastness of the French stance toward Lebanon and the area.
The deputy chairman of the French senate's council conveyed the two messages that depicted Jospin's declarations as being emotional.
