Swiss foreign minister arrives in Damascus today

Switzerland's foreign minister and the federal chancellor, Joseph Deiss, arrives today in Damascus on an official visit to Syria. The Swiss minister is accompanied by a governmental delegation as well as by parliamentary and economic delegations representing associations including Swiss industries.
The visit of the Swiss minister to Syria comes in the course of his tour which also covers Egypt and Lebanon.
