Masalha expects peace talks to be resumed between Syria, Israel next month

Israeli Deputy Foreign Minister Nawaf Masalha stated on Monday that peace talks between Syria and Israel might be resumed next month. In a statement quoted by Israeli Radio, Masalha expressed his conviction that Israel will reach a peace agreement with Syria and Lebanon during next summer on the grounds of the land-for-peace formula.
