Petroleum cooperation between Chad and Algeria

Chad's minister of mines and energy, Mokhtar Moussa, held talks with his Algerian counterpart, Chakib Khelil, in Algeria.
The talks tackled means of enhancing the cooperation between the two countries in the field of petroleum.
A Chadian delegation headed to the gas fields in Hani Meseoud in the Algerian Sahara to visit establishments to search for gas.
Official Algerian sources said the two sides are to sign a cooperation agreement in the field of petroleum during Moussa's visit to Algeria.
Moussa arrived in Algeria on Saturday for a four-day visit.
Moussa's visit to Algeria coincides with the Chadian government's decision to increase petroleum prices.
