Acts of violence continue in Algeria

The armed groups in Algeria have killed one policeman and seriously wounded his father and brother after gunfire was opened on them in Oran district, 432 km from the capital, Algiers.
The Algerian daily al-Khabar said on Sunday that another two policemen were wounded following an attack by the armed group at a police security barrier at Sidi Dawoud checkpoint in Mascara province. The paper said one member of a self-defense group was killed in Setif province, while a bomb explosion resulted in the loss of the leg of one citizen in Ein Timo Shant district.
Meanwhile, Algerian security sources said that the police found four girls killed in Sidi Taieb village in Gilzan area, 300 km west of Algiers. The police said the girls were on a picnic when the terrorists found them.
