Saudi - Dutch trade cooperation
Saudi Arabia-Netherlands, Economics, 2/28/2000

Saudi Minister of Commerce Osama Jaafar Faqih on Sunday in Riyadh discussed with the Netherlands' Deputy Premier and Minister of Economic Affairs Annemarie Jorritsma means of maintaining economic and trade cooperation between the two countries and prospects of their development.

In a meeting in Riyadh, attended by members of the visiting Dutch delegation, the two sides expressed their desire to establish a genuine partnership through setting up joint production projects and modern technology transfer.

On Saturday, Saudi Minister of Oil and Mineral Resources, Ali al-Nueimi, discussed with the visiting Dutch minister bilateral relations and on the seventh energy forum which is organized by Saudi Arabia and will be held in November, in which representatives of the oil-producing and consuming countries will meet.

Holland is the second country which sponsors this forum after Japan.
