Symposium to discuss future of Egyptian - European relations
Egypt-European Union, Politics, 2/26/2000

The European Union's mission in Cairo is organizing in association with the Al Ahram Center for Political and Strategic Studies on Tuesday a three-day symposium with the title, "Europe between today and tomorrow."

Christian Falcowiski, ambassador of the European Union in Cairo, said the symposium will tackle developments and the future of Egyptian - European relations in light of the Barcelona agreement.

He added that the symposium will also comprise discussions concerning evaluation of the economic organizations and the political structures to the European Union.

Ambassador Jamal Bauimi will deliver a lecture concerning the Barcelona Process and future of the Arab - European relations.
