Israeli Knesset member and the Syrian track
Syria-Israel, Politics, 2/26/2000
Israeli Knesset member Ahmad Tibi has stated that one of the reasons for the crisis in Israeli- Palestinian negotiations is that it seems that Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak has taken a strategic decision to prefer the Syrian track more than the Palestinian track and viewing the Palestinian track as secondary.
In an interview with Israeli Radio on Friday, Tibi added that if Barak takes such a decision he would have made a grave mistake.
