Moroccan, Libyan universities sign accord

The African Studies Institute of the Rabat Mohammed V University and the Tripoli Arab Maghreb University concluded here Thursday a cooperation accord.
The accord provides for enhancing cultural and scientific cooperation and for coordinating action regarding the choice of research topics.
It also stipulates the exchange of searchers, experts, books and documents, the setting up of translation and Arabization workshops and the publishing of research papers.
Under the accord, the two north African academic institutions will compile and publish manuscripts in Arabic scattered in sub-Saharan regions, especially in Tomboctou, in Mali and in Dakar, Senegal.
