Opening the economic summit COMESA on Monday

The Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak is due to open on Monday the first economic conference COMESA countries that is organized by Egypt in cooperation with the worldly conference EuroMoney under the name "Comessa 2000."

Presidents of Kenya, Zambia, Congo and king of Swaziland and foreign ministers, of economy and communications in COMESA countries and nearly 800 heads of companies, Egyptian corporations, international investment banks of as well as businessmen from COMESA countries.

Works of the conference will last for two days and will tackle horizons of cooperation among the COMESA countries, increasing activities of the affiliated different bodies, confront challenges of liberating world trade.

A workshop will be held on the margin of the conference for discussing the different causes like the capital markets in COMESA, the small and mid size projects, energy, harbors, communications, technology, construction, tourism, textile, petroleum, gas and food industries in addition to fair for products of the members countries in COMESA.
