Israel continues attacks against Lebanon, Beirut vows commitment to April Understanding, resistance

The Israeli occupation forces on Thursday renewed their attacks against areas adjacent to the occupied part of south Lebanon.

Lebanese security forces said the occupation forces on Thursday bombarded al-Rayhan woods in the eastern sector of south Lebanon.

News reports from the occupied area of al-Arqoub said the occupation forces and their agents are still besieging occupied Kafer Shouba town, on the ground of the assassination attempt against the security official for the Lahd militia Ahmad Shebli and his son Ali in the town two days earlier. The attempt resulted in wounding the son, Ali.

On Thursday afternoon the Israeli artillery bombarded, using heavy artillery, the outskirts of Barachit, Eita al-Jabal, Tibnin and Jabal al-Zaatar towns.

Earlier the occupation forces expelled citizen Fayez Khafajah from Ein Qenya town of Hasbaya district to the free parts of the south under the pretext that he is "persona non- grata," while his wife and children were left in the occupied town.
