Six people killed in building collapse in Casablanca
Morocco, Local, 2/24/2000
Six people were killed and eleven others were injured as a building collapsed on Wednesday afternoon in Casablanca.
Among the six dead persons, five are from the same family.
The rescue team ended the search after it brought out from under the rubble the corpse of a 36-year old man.
Eleven women, who were in a Turkish bath, were also wounded in the collapse.
The collapse is due to excavation works conducted nearby and the reasons recall tragically a similar accident last December in Fes when 47 people died and 40 others were wounded.
