Sultan of Oman gets Turkish message

Sultan Qaboos of Oman on Wednesday received a message from Turkish President Suleiman Demirel connected to the Turkish celebration of the 700th anniversary of the Ottoman's scientific and cultural heritage.
The Gulf News Agency said that Oman's deputy premier for Cabinet affairs, Fahd Bin Mahmoud al-Saeed, received this message during his meeting with the Turkish ambassador to Oman in Muscat on Wednesday.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed bilateral relations between the two states and means of strengthening and developing bilateral cooperation prospects in various fields. They also reviewed several current issues and developments on the regional and international arenas besides several issues of mutual concern.
