Berri: The Lebanese resistance is not only Hizbullah

Lebanese Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri asserted that his country needs a neutral arena in which to declare facts about the Israeli attacks on his country.

Berri said in press statements today that the resistance is not only limited to Hizbullah, which is considered one of the main resistance factions, yet there are other Lebanese in the Amal movement as well as in other movements, and they all fight Israel in its most recent operations especially which were launched from the land occupied by Israel and targeted Israeli soldiers.

Berri added that what is required is the Israeli withdrawal from Lebanon, and Lebanon does not oppose the Israeli withdrawal from south Lebanon. He said Lebanon has been asking for such a withdrawal since 1978, but Israel always had excuses to remain in Lebanon.
